Five Growth Sectors in Rajasthan: Mining, Solar, Infrastructure, Agri and Health
By ATTPL HOLDCO / ATTPL GROUP Editorial Team · · 2 min read
Reported numbers on mining revenue targets, rooftop solar, Jaipur Metro, agriculture and medical travel show where Rajasthan's opportunities are.

Mining
A report in April 2026 said Rajasthan's Mines Department aims for INR 14,001 crore in revenue for FY 2026-27, up from INR 10,394 crore, and is preparing an auction calendar for mineral blocks. Another report noted Rajasthan has allotted more than 100 major mineral blocks through auctions so far.
Solar
A May 2026 report said Rajasthan had installed about 200,416 rooftop solar systems with 771 MW capacity under the PM Surya Ghar scheme, with Jaipur leading in installations.

Infrastructure
Jaipur Metro Phase-2, approved in April 2026 at about INR 13,037 crore, is a headline project, along with road, water and power works the state has announced.
Agriculture
Rajasthan's farm economy is expanding into agritech, processing and exports, while weather risk remains a challenge.
Health and wellness
India's push for medical value travel and AYUSH, discussed at a September 2026 event, offers a role for Rajasthan's hospitals and wellness centres.
How to evaluate an opportunity
For any sector, assess demand, regulation, capital needs, competition, supply chain, talent and exit options. Visit sites, talk to local operators and read official notifications. Opportunities that look attractive in headlines can be difficult in execution because of approvals, land, power or logistics.
Create a one-page investment note for each idea listing risks and what would make you stop.
Cross-sector synergies
Sectors connect: solar can reduce power costs for factories and farms, infrastructure improves logistics for agriculture and mining, and health and wellness benefit from better connectivity and tourism. A group with services across sectors can help investors see and manage these links.
Compliance and community
Respect environmental rules, labour laws, land records and community interests. Businesses that engage local communities and follow regulations tend to have fewer disruptions and better long-term returns.
Where ATTPL fits
ATTPL Group has service companies in each of these areas, based in Jaipur, so investors and entrepreneurs can approach them through one group.
